Cookie policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This cookie policy explains which cookies the Vela Breeze Hotel Resort website uses and how you can control them. In short: we set the cookies that remember your answer to the cookie banner and, only if you accept analytics cookies, the Google Analytics cookies. We use no advertising cookies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for a site to work. Others measure visits or show advertising, and those may only be set with your consent.

2. The cookies we use

We use no advertising or social media cookies. Without your consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics still receives a measurement of each page you view, without cookies: it cannot recognise you from one page or visit to the next, but it receives your IP address, your browser and the page, from which Google estimates the number of visits. If we add other cookies, they will stay off until you accept them in the banner, and we will list them here first.

3. The cookie banner

The banner is our own and runs on this website: no third-party script is loaded to show it. When you make a choice, we keep a record of it on our hosting provider's servers: a random consent identifier, the time, the categories you accepted or refused, the version of this policy, a fingerprint of the exact wording and policy links you saw, and its language. The record holds no IP address. Our privacy policy explains how that data is handled.

4. Changing your choice

  • On your first visit, the banner asks for your choice. Only necessary cookies are set until you accept others.
  • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
  • You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the consent cookie, the banner asks again on your next visit. It also asks again after 6 months, and whenever this policy changes.

5. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy, and the date at the top, whenever the cookies we use change.
