These terms of use ("Terms") govern your use of the Vela Breeze Hotel Resort website (the "Website"). The Website is operated by Prime Invest Limited ("we", "us" or "our").
By using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

3. About the Website
The Website introduces the Vela Breeze Hotel Resort in Paje, Zanzibar, ahead of its opening. It describes the hotel, its rooms, restaurant and facilities, and the area around it.
The hotel is not open yet, and the Website:
- Does not take bookings or payments, and nothing on it is an offer to sell or reserve a stay.
- Describes a hotel still being completed. Rooms, facilities, services and the opening date may change before opening without notice.
- Shows images that may be visualisations of the finished hotel rather than photographs.
- Does not give professional advice of any kind.
4. Using the Website
Please use the Website lawfully and in a way that does not harm it or other people. In particular, do not:
- Try to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or any connected system.
- Disrupt the Website, for example by overloading it or introducing malicious code.
- Copy the Website or its content in bulk with bots, scrapers or other automated tools.
- Use the Website for anything unlawful where you are.
We may restrict access for anyone who breaks these rules.
5. Your data
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, and the cookie we use is described in our cookie policy. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including text, images, graphics, logos, design and software, belongs to Prime Invest Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view it and share links to it for personal, non-commercial use. Do not reproduce, distribute, modify or build on it otherwise without our written consent.
7. Links to other websites
The Website may link to websites we do not run. We are not responsible for their content or availability, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
8. Availability and accuracy
We try to keep the Website available and its information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee either. We may change, suspend or withdraw the Website, or any part of it, at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
- Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Website, whether in contract, tort, negligence, statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to EUR 500.
- Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business or anticipated savings, loss or corruption of data, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website.
- We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, government action, power or network failure, or the failure of a third-party provider.
- If you are a consumer in the European Union, these limits apply only as far as the mandatory consumer protection law of your country allows.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
- If you are a consumer who lives in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country, in line with Article 6(2) of the Rome I Regulation (EC 593/2008).
- A dispute that cannot be settled as described in section 11 goes to the competent courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
11. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint about the Website, please write to us first at info@vela-zanzibar.com. We will try to resolve it quickly and informally.
If we cannot, and you are a consumer in the EU, you may refer the dispute to a certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body in your country. Your national consumer authority or the European Commission can tell you which bodies are available. We will take part in good faith in any such procedure.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Website, the law or our business, for example when bookings open. We will publish material changes on the Website at least 30 days before they take effect, with a new date at the top. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Website before then. Changes required by law, or purely editorial ones, may take effect immediately.
13. Severability
If a court or authority finds any provision of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, that provision is changed as little as needed to make it valid, or removed if that is not possible. The rest of the Terms stay in force.
